I don't recall seeing kids playground when i was here. But i know there are still playgrounds around baseball fields for kids too play. Disc golf is reason i came here but that don't mean it is a bad park . It does still have basketball court an large layout for three park.
The softball field could use some attention. Home plate has deep ruts. First park I've been to where person taking care of fields wants games to hurry up and finish so he can lock the gate. Would be nice if both gates were open daily for entrance into park. I understand on days when tournaments are played to allow charging for games.
Short, surprisingly decent disc golf course. Most holes are wide open, with a scattering of trees for cover. Park seemed well-maintained. Saw two groups of locals on the course who were polite and efficient as they moved through the course.
First time visiting for a kid's soccer game. The area was clean and well maintained. Very enjoyable!
If you are trying to compare it to other ball parks, it's no E-town Sports Complex. One of the big things for me is how was the tournament ran from the organizers standpoint. I have been to close to 20 tournaments at Meade Olin, And as a parent and past coach, I would recommend
This is one of the best baseball parks in Brandenburg and surrounding communities. One of the best features is the all turf field for the major division.
